biography
GIANNI ANDERLE was born on 3 May 1950, in Pergine Valsugana. He learned the art of colour in a Pergine full of artstic inspiration, where he met up and worked with various famous artists. However, canvas and brushes didn't fully satisfy his desire for tridimensionality, which he fulfilled only in the years 2000.
In fact, it is only at the beginning of the new century that Gianni Anderle discovered ceramic and converted to it: he finally found a way to put into shape his complex visions and creativity. Step after step, trial after trial, clay became a familiar material, particularly the second firing technique, where heat created the same bright colours that characterised his paintings.
During the next twenty years, Gianni Anderle has used his infinite fantasy and his expert technique to create a vast number of artworks, achieving wide consensus from the public and critics. This success is the direct consequence of the challenging but also rewarding combination of material-heat-colour that makes his sculptures unique masterpieces.
